THE BRAND – A relatively young brand, Saint Luis Rey was founded in 1940 and was registered in Cuba by Zamora y Guerra Co. According to the first one, the marca Saint Luis Rey was inspired by the novel of popular American author Thornton Wilder, the Bridge of San Luis Rey, while, some others believe that the brand’s name pays homage to the homonymous Cuban city.
